Biometric Authentication
Fingerprint readers provide a second or third means of identifying people attemtping entry to sensitive areas. Two factor authentication includes Who You Are (biometric) alongside What You Have (card). Three factor authentication includes the above plus What You Know (PIN). Biometric Authentication is an effective deterrent to card passing.
